What is the definition of domestic helper ? If I hire a local helper, can I apply for the plan?

” Domestic helper ” refer to a full-time contracted foreign domestic helper, such as Filipino domestic helper and Indonesian domestic helper, whereas local helper is not included under the policy for insurance coverage.

How many categories of insurance coverage plan can be provided for the customers to select?

You can be optionally to select a one-year or two-year coverage plan. If you select the latter, you can enjoy more fabulous premium offer.

Is the Insured Period required to be same as the period for employment contract ?

Not necessary. Please note that the insurance coverage must be effective within the valid employment contract period.

If my domestic helper is injured in Hong Kong during off-duty, can this domestic helper be compensated?

Yes. In addition to medical expenses compensation, the maximum compensation of HK$ 100,000 can be also provided accordingly if the accident occurred within 12 months resulting in death, limb or blind of this domestic helper.

If there is a replacement of domestic helper during the policy period, do I need to re-apply?

Not necessary. You just need to inform us in writing by providing the information of the new hired domestic helper, including name, date of birth, identity document number, nationality, etc. But the effective date of coverage for such amendment shall not be earlier than the date of notification.
Major Exclusion Items
Loss or damage due to war, terrorism, Intentional self-inflicted injury or suicide, Mental Illness, Venereal disease, Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) or AIDS Related Complex (ARC), Treatment in connection with drugs, alcohol and pregnancy, Pre-existing conditions, etc.
